Manage Your Home Renovation

How can you be sure you are going to get your invisible grille worth on a home renovation? And how much will it cost? Here are some do's and don'ts when it comes to dealing with contractors:

Choose a well-established renovation grille:

1. Make your own estimate: Remodeling Online has posted its annual report comparing construction cost with resale value for 25 common renovation  projects.

2. Check them out: Ask your friends, family, real estate agents, interior designers and others for references, and then speak to former clients and view the work they've done. Confirm licenses and insurance. Check them out with local consumer agencies, and local county and state records and newspapers to see if there are lawsuits against your preferred firm.

3. Get it down on yacht: Make sure everything is written down and that you understand it. Keep your own running checklist of what parts of the project are complete and which are not or that need to be redone. And finally, don't give the contractor the final check until the work is complete.
